page-2 But why do you call it a game?

You play this game all your life!!

Game of Money

Age Game Period

A game, like football, is often broken into quarters. For many people, we leave school around twenty-five and plan on retiring at the age of sixty-six.

That means the game of money we play is forty years long, which means that a quarter of the game is ten years in length. Sometimes during that forty years, we hope to earn and set aside enough money to retire and win the game!

Do you understand the game?......In what quarter of the game you are in if you are still in the game or have you won the game?

25 - 35 1st Quarter
35 - 45 2nd Quarter
Halftime
45 - 55 3rd Quarter

Overtime means having not enough money and work beyond age sixty-five.

Out-of-time means you still have not enough money, are still alive but physically unable to work any longer.

What's your plan for such a time?

American Newspaper USA Today had done survey and discovered that Americans' number one fear is running out of money. No cancer, no heart attack, but being unable to live honorable life.

55 - 65 4th Quarter
Overtime
Out - of Time

In 1971, President Nixon took us off the gold standards. This was a poor economic policy that changed the rules of money. It is one of the biggest financial changes in the history of the world, yet few people are aware of this change and its effect on the world economy today

In 1971, the U.S. dollar died because it was no longer money - it became a currency. There is a big difference between money and currency.

One of the reasons so many people are struggling financially today is because of Nixon's actions.

Do I think everyone should play this game of money?

My answer is, like it or not, everyone is already playing the game of money. Rich or poor, we are all involved in the game of money.
The difference is some people play harder, know the rules, and use them to their advantage more than others. Some people are more dedicated, more passionate, more committed to learning and to winning. When it comes to the game of money, most people are playing – if they know they are playing at all – not to lose rather than playing to win.
People losing in this game usually lie to themselves:
I can’t afford it.
I can’t do that.
I’ll never be rich.
I’m not smart enough.
It’s too hard.
